B&T offers adapters for practically all threads. This has the advantage that you can use the damper on several of your weapons with the same or smaller caliber. In order to be able to use the silencer on a .308 with M14 muzzle thread and one .30-06 with 5/8-24 unef thread, you only need a second adapter. This saves the acquisition costs for a second damper.
